Education Projects
By building classrooms and providing equipment we are helping to improve education within communities.
Building classrooms
In addition to the wells and rainwater projects, we undertake some projects to support education by building classrooms.
15 new classrooms have been built, at Kabindi, Mabira (2), Muganza, Muhororo (3), Lyamuchele, refurbished in Rukora, Kitwechembogo (3), Omukimeya and at Nyarwerwe (2).
In each case 90 or more children will attend school, half in the morning and half in the afternoon.
The cost of a new classroom is currently in the region of £12,000 with PRF and the Government each paying half the cost.
